One slippery hombre
The pounding "Tremendous Dynamite" is one of the most explosive songs the band has released, while the spooky howl outs in "Fresh Blood" will make you crazy happy. What these rawer tracks hide during your first spin of Hombre Lobo is that sparsed in between is the quiet, pleasant and gentle Eels tracks that you have known for a long time making this record more familiar then first imagined. Eels fans will truly enjoy the freedom found in the garage rock pieces but will also recognize that lyrically E can still capture what true loneliness and desire feels like giving Hombre Lobo a true soul to absorb!
